Year of Youth

OUR VISION

We envision no less than a peaceful American Revolution in our lifetimes.

This Revolution will be fought on the battlefield of ideas, and it will be won without firing a shot.

To that end, we are launching the most ambitious youth driven project in recent history.

Though our allies will be many and diverse, we strongly believe this to be a cause that our generation – the youth – must lead.

We recognize that change comes from power, and power comes from organization.

We will build a vibrant network of students, activists, organizers, candidates, intellectuals, and any other citizens who are concerned for their country's future.

This nationwide network will 'prepare the ground' for hundreds – possibly thousands – of future campaigns for state and local offices in 2012. We offer the materials, education, training and mobilization necessary to implement the vision of a local, free, and responsible society.

All across America, the youth will rise.

And 2012 will be only the beginning. We are laying a foundation for long-term change which will grow in strength year after year until our vision becomes reality.

But we need not wait to act. We can start today by building bridges between young people all over America, uniting in common cause.
